The instructor Stalford Sunderland is absolutely amazing. Dental assistant school was a really great experience for me. The program was hands-on and actually prepared me for what it’s like to work in a real dental office. The instructor Stalford Was helpful, patient, and made sure we understood both the clinical skills and the classroom material. I liked that we didn’t just sit and listen—we practiced things like X-rays, charting, sterilization, and assisting chairside, which made me feel confident going into the field. The program was well-organized and supportive, and I always felt encouraged to ask questions and improve. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants a career in dental assisting and wants real-world training, not just textbook learning.

Miss Stalford was a GREAT instructor. The program was good itself, very fast-paced and a lot information which can feel overwhelming but Stalford made sure to explain and show everything throughly. We had our last class today, and I cannot sing Stalford Sunderland's praises enough as an instructor!!! She's the only reason I stuck through the course. She listened to every recommendation we had during labs and worked with us to reach our individual goals. The rest of the advisors and online assistance may leave something to be desired but it's not necessary. I recommend the Uptown location solely for Stalford and why I put 5 stars.

This program was super hands on, and answered every single question we had. They made sure that we knew what was expected of us and explained everything in a way that we understood it easily. I'm going to miss Chandra Lamb, the best instructor we could've had! She took the time to help when needed and in a way that wasn't overbearing, and let us come to the conclusion of next steps for procedures we were going over. I will definitely miss going to class, I made friends with my fellow students and overall made a great impact in my life.

This was by far the most understanding, straight forward, and frequent hands on trade school to start out as a Dental Assistant! I couldn’t ask for a better instructor name MISS CHANDRA! She made the class feel confident that they’ll pass, taught us the newest tricks and most important showed us how to be an amazing Dental Assistant no matter where we’ll work at! Any questions, concerns, or comments that was made by the class? She answered them quickly to the point where you could understand and you just KNEW she was very knowledgeable in her field of work! Overall, VERY thankful for her most definitely!!
